Salts is delighted about the success of having secured a grant from the Nordic Culture Point to create the site specific dance film installations, Bekkur/Bænk 123,… . The project will be created in Iceland and Denmark and Bekkur/Bænk 1 will be presented in Reykjavik and Copenhagen as an installation, Bekkur/Bænk 2 as a youtube video and Bekkur/Bænk 3 as mobile phone clips. Ingi Jensson and Heike Salzer will collaborate with artists from Iceland and Denmark and we are now in the process of planning the whole production. This is a very exciting opportunity and we are honored to have received this grant.

Salts Productions collaborated for the first time in the 3marketeer/3 passer-by project, which was part of the Guerrilla performances during the Dansweek Brabant. The inspiring approach of the collaboration is that both artists contribute to the choreographic as well the visual process; Both being involved with the development of the concept, performance material as well as the filming, editing and presentation on the internet. This rare fusion of talents has proven to be a very fruitful one and salts productions is aiming to embark together on new ideas in the coming year.
